Yes, it's here once again!

This year's Jelly Wrestling Competition has a Hallowe'en theme because it's being held on October 31st from 2-5pm.

We keep ourselves so busy that I forget to update this website!

In the last few months we've done some wonderful activities, and things are on the rise for Fullarton Venturers with 2 linking Scouts and a few others doing "Come and Try" activities with us.

A night of "Come and Try Spaceball" with all units invited (and Trailblazer and Port Noarlunga in attendance) was a lot of fun. We had some Kintaro guys join us for a Random Photo Scavenger Hunt in Rundle Mall followed by Pancakes at the Pancake Kitchen. And just last night we held an Iron Chef Cooking Competition with Tranmere with the theme of Asian Food, and photos of that are up in the gallery! Check em out!

Coming up is our Venturing Skills Hike, Ice Skating, and hopefully some Quad Biking at the end of term!

Term 2's more than half way through, so let's show you what we've been up to!

Fullarton Venturers had a car in African Safari NONT - We were Time Safari, Inc! No idea yet how well we went, but it was a pretty fun night.

And just tonight we had a fun night at Kartmania doing some Go-Karting and Lazer Skirmish, followed with a snack at Cafe de Vilis. We did invite like five other Venturer units to join us for this, but none showed up! Soft! We also took the opportunity to invest Darcy as a new member of the unit.

Spaceball!!!!

Last week we had a few games of Spaceball with Rowallan Venturers and Aesir Rovers.

Coming up soon we're heading to African Safari NONT, going to Go Karting and Lazer Skirmish and having a few relaxing nights towards the end of term.

Fullarton Venturers returns now, in 2009!

We start up again next week for another year packed full of great activities and a lot of fun. We're still a small unit (and we always welcome new members, just email us!) but a powerful one - our first big activity is a Waterskiing / Kneeboarding Camp in mid-February that's been almost completely organised by Venturers themselves!

So after a few months of planning done by teenagers like you, we are looking forward to relaxing and kicking back with some high-speed water sports.

Psst... Jelly Wrestling date for this year is October 31st... put it in your diaries now!

The SA Venturer Jelly Wrestling Competition is nearly upon us!

And now is the time to prove you are man (or woman) enough for the challenge! Entries into the competition close on September 19 so get them in now!

How? Fill in the form on this page and hit "Throw me in the Jelly Pit!" It's as simple as that!

Don't forget that all competition wrestlers will get a free soft drink included in their $5 entry price, plus the chance to defeat the reigning champions to win the first place trophy!

Rock and Roll all NONT

"Fashion Victims Unit" had a wonderful time at Flash Rovers' Rock and Roll all NONT last night - so much so we didn't reach the finish point until about 4.30am and got back to the Scout hall at 6am!

Some new photos are up from our night out last night cooking Pancakes in Public - in Rymill Park on the corner of Rundle St and East Tce. Okay, so the cooking itself (on trangias) wasn't all that successful, but we still had fun :)

FVU will be making an appearance at Rock and Roll all NONT next week, and on the June long weekend, we'll be heading up to The Dutchmans Stern near Quorn for some nice hiking with the Dune Raiders (Roxby Downs Venturer Unit).

Last week we played a game of Spaceball against Flash Rovers and now the photos are up in the Gallery.
